Windows 8.1 Preview Enterprise Coming soon

Microsoft launched Windows 8 on October 26th, with a volley of new hardware designed for the touch-based interface. Just 12 months after an early Windows 8 Release Preview, Microsoft is now keen to talk about some upcoming changes in an update named Windows 8.1. Originally codenamed Blue, Windows 8.1 sets the pace for changes to Microsoft's software that will continue in the future for both the ARM (RT) and x86 versions of the OS.



Windows 8.1, Microsoft's Brandon LeBlanc wrote on the company blog, "continues the journey we first began with Windows 8 last fall. Windows 8.1 will help us to deliver the next generation of PCs and tablets with our OEM partners and to deliver the experiences customers – both consumers and businesses alike –need and will just expect moving forward."

The preview website showcases information for Windows 8.1 Enterprise, indicating that this update will be perfect for businesses who have been uneasy and slow to make the move to Windows 8. "Windows 8.1 brings together everything you do – from new mobile apps for your business, to Office productivity work, to searching and browsing, to accessing all your data from anywhere," the website states..
